We have assisted multiple landowners with holiday lodge developments in the southwest, primarily on sites along the South Devon and North Cornwall coastline. We have also assisted a startup lodge/cabin manufacturer with bespoke designs for contemporary lodge accommodation.

 

This popular accommodation type has grown in popularity as a result of its low impact and flexibility of siting. Lodges are a much improved version of the traditional static caravan. Allowing for optimum levels of insulation and higher quality natural cladding materials they provide a more sustainable, longer life product worth the extra investment. Lodges on wheeled chassis’ benefit from the planning flexibility offered by the Caravan Act meaning that the planning application process is often more streamlined.
