Yollands Barn is a former Shippon style barn situated on the outskirts of Dartmoor in South Devon.

 

Our objective was to sensitively convert this dilapidated barn, which was once a working structure, into a cozy family home that seamlessly integrates with its tranquil garden surroundings. We aimed to ensure the longevity of the building for years to come.

 

Preserving the historic charm of the barn was paramount, so we carefully selected a palette of locally sourced natural materials to compliment the existing stonework.

 

Inside, an eclectic design approach highlights the barn's period features while tastefully incorporating modern elements that pay homage to the renovation process.
